BECOME A MEMBER!
There are many ways to become a member!
Join our email list, apply to volunteer, or even register your Collective House with our database of collectives in Vancouver!
Membership is currently pay-what-you-can, and you can contribute by subscribing to our email list, volunteering with us, or by an online or in-person donation
We are working on membership benefits; email us any ideas you may have for how to promote community and collaboration amongst collective houses.
We invite you to support some of our current projects:
Workshops: offering workshops for the community to learn about techniques and skills related to collective living!
Food Sharing: learning how to connect with one another’s needs by sharing resources together
Potlucks: our potlucks began as a tool for connecting people looking for homes with the people who have space; providing a warm atmosphere for breaking the ice and connecting with the greater community.
Building an Online Forum: our website is a work in progress! We want to expand and provide an online forum for folks to connect and share ideas.
- The funds collected through membership fees will help the Society complete its missions.
-We are welcoming to all people, whether you live in a collective house or not.
-All members must provide their legal name and physical address according to the BC Society Act. This information will be stored on the CHS servers in B.C. CHS's use of personal information is governed by the BC Personal Information Protection Act.
